Hey Abe: Since I had four free days on this Labor Day weekend (starting my semester and had Friday off for a few reasons) I did your quadruple feature with these four films in exactly the same order (only one per day, rather than all in one day, it was cheaper that way) and I got to say it is a really strong lineup, thank you for the recommendations (August was unusually strong this year). My favorite was probably District 9, but they were all quite good. I also got to see The Hurt Locker and (500) Days of Summer recently and I really liked them both.
I'm honored! Glad that you enjoyed the films. Clearly our tastes are alike - stick around for the fall, there are sure to be plenty of great films, and I'd love to hear your thoughts!
I will stick around, that sounds great. I also like to write my thoughts about film and the Oscar season, only I do them as Facebook notes. You can look them up if you want (just look for me under Isaac Richter) and tell me what you think. I also have a blog that I did once for a class with my thoughts on movies (cinemarichter.blogspot.com) but I haven't kept it for a while.
