One of the recently-announced Oscar finalists for Best Visual Effects is George Clooney's “The Midnight Sky,” now streaming on Netflix. I had the privilege to chat with production designer Jim Bissell and VFX supervisors Chris Lawrence and Matt Kasmir, which was a great and very technically enlightening conversation.
