Oscar Nominees: Best Sound Editing

My predictions: 3/5, picking “Get Out” and “Wonder Woman” over “The Shape of Water” and “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”

The nominees: Baby Driver, Blade Runner 2049, Dunkirk, The Shape of Water, Star Wars: The Last Jedi

This is the first time since the Sound Editing race was expanded to five nominees in 2006 that this has matched up 100% with the Sound nominees. While it’s not that interesting, it does make some sense given the contenders. I shouldn’t have made sure to diversify my predictions; I would have done better. More once I’ve seen “Blade Runner 2049” and “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.”

My current bet to win: Same nominees, same winner? I'll go with Dunkirk.
