Golden Globe Winner Predictions: Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture

The competition: Matt Damon’s Afrikaner Rugby captain (Invictus), Woody Harrelson’s Casualty Notification officer (The Messenger), Christopher Plummer’s Leo Tolstoy (The Last Station), Stanley Tucci’s vicious killer (The Lovely Bones), and Christoph Waltz’s crazed Nazi Jew Hunter (Inglourious Basterds).

For your information: Damon has two previous acting nominations and one other nod this year for “The Informant.” Plummer has a previous TV nod, and Tucci has won on both of his TV nominations. Harrelson has one previous nod, and this is the first time for Waltz.

Who should win: Waltz
